Sales Tax Policy

We are required by law to charge sales tax except in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island which exempt apparel merchandise under certain circumstances. There is no sales tax for orders delivered to addresses in Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, or Oregon.

Some states tax shipping charges as well as the purchase total. Those states are: Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Kansas, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Please note that on-screen order totals reflect estimated sales tax. The actual charge to your credit card will reflect the applicable state and local sales taxes and will be calculated when the order is shipped. Your tax total will include the correct county sales tax addition (if applicable) and be reflected on your invoice. Gift Services

How do I send a package to a friend/relative/etc?

  • In the first checkout step, check the "Send as a gift" option. You will then be given the opportunity to enter in your name and message, which Max Studio will have imprinted, on a gift card. This card is then sent along with the package, to the receiver on the ship to address.
  • The Price for the gift box and card is $5.00.

Returns

Your satisfaction with our product is guaranteed. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return your unwashed, unworn or defective merchandise within 30 days of the invoice date.Shoes must be returned unworn in original packaging.

How do I return an item?

  • You must mail the item back to Max Studio Corporate Office. There will be a return invoice included in your package.
  • Send package back, including the return form Max Studio has provided for you.
  • Fill out the form, noting the quantity and the return code reason (located on back of return form).
  • Please allow 14 days for us to receive your merchandise, inspect it and process your exact request in accordance with your written instructions.
  • Do not send your package C.O.D. as it will not be accepted.
  • Shoes must be returned un-worn in their original box.

How do I exchange an item?

  • You have 30 days from the invoice date to exchange this item.
  • If you are unhappy with your item please fill out the return form included in your original package and mail both the item, and form back to Max Studio Corporate Office.
  • Please complete the back of the return form to indicate what items you would like to exchange it for?
  • Please fill out your credit card information on the return form. Credit Card information must be filled out in order to process exchanges. You will then be credited or charged for the additional balance.

How do I receive a refund?

  • You have 30 days from the invoice date to return this item for a full refund.
  • Your refund will be credited to the card used for this purchase.
  • Allow 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.
  • Your shipping charge will only be refunded if the incorrect item has been sent or if the item is defective.

Out of Stock Items

While we make every effort not to be out of stock, occasionally we are out of certain items. If we are out of stock on an item that you've ordered, we will immediately notify you by phone or e-mail. Any out-of-stock items will be removed from your order total and will be reflected in your shipping confirmation email (if you have provided an email address). We apologize, but we are unable to accept back orders at this time.

Shipping and Express Delivery

Orders will be processed within 48 business hours (Monday thru Friday), and UPS Ground typically takes between 1 and 7 days for delivery. Shipping charges will be automatically calculated at the check out page for the type of shipping you choose. Shipping charges are calculated directly from the shipping source via the internet.

Do you have overnight delivery?

  • Max Studio can expedite your shipment by overnight delivery.
  • Orders must be submitted Monday through Friday by 10:30 a.m. PST.
  • There will only be express delivery available to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico (Next day and 2nd day air)
  • Overnight orders placed on Friday will arrive the following Monday.
  • Unfortunately at this time we are unable to ship merchandise internationally.

 

Order Processing

How long before I receive my merchandise?

  • You will receive your order within 5-7 working days. (UPS Ground takes 5-7 working days).
  • Orders received Monday through Friday will be processed within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed on the following Monday. Holidays Excluded.

Tracking Your Order

How do I track my order?

  • You may track your order directly with UPS. You can check the status of your shipment via the Internet:
    http://wwwapps.ups.com/etracking/tracking.cgi?build_trn=yes. Your tracking number will be the same as your on-line order number. Enter your order number in the track by reference field. Note that it may take 24 hours before tracking information appears on the carrier’s website.
